Elder Election
We invite you to the Congregational Meeting to elect new elders on April 16th during the 9am Bible Study hour. We’ll be meeting in the lower GP, with free donuts and coffee provided!
Elder Candidates
Mitch was born in Colorado Springs and grew up there for most of his life. He graduated from Liberty High School and attended Woodmen Valley Chapel for the majority of his upbringing. Mitch graduated from Colorado School of Mines and worked as a mechanical engineer for 5 years before switching careers to help run the All-Stars Club, a ministry for individuals with special needs.
In late 2019, Mitch met his wife Katie, who had been attending West Bowles since her days in the youth group They married in July 2021 and have been attending West Bowles for several years together now. They love spending time together, time with friends, and time with family.
You can often find Mitch and Katie on Sunday Mornings in the Gathering Place Café at the church reading together and catching up with many friends. You can also find them at the West Bowles Young Adults gatherings, All-Stars events, and many other events throughout the year.
Brian was born and raised in Denver. He has been at West Bowles since 1991.
Brian grew up in church as the son of a music director and accepted Christ as his savior at the age of 10.
He met his wife, Kourtney, in the West Bowles youth group and they began dating when they were 17 years old. They have been married 26 years and have 3 kids…Riley (20), Ava (19), and Ezekiel (8).
Brian and Kourtney have served in various ways at West Bowles including helping start a young/married class (now Homebuilders) 15+ years ago.
They have been blessed by all the friendships through the years and consider West Bowles their family.
